Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Outback Adventures, Inc. d/b/a ParkPilot ("ParkPilot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information. ParkPilot is a software platform that RV parks and campgrounds ("Parks") use to manage reservations, billing, and guest communications. This policy explains what information we collect from guests who book with a Park through ParkPilot, and how that information is used.

When you make or manage a reservation through a Park's ParkPilot booking page, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, vehicle/rig details, party members, and payment information (processed by our payment provider, Stripe, on behalf of the Park). We also collect reservation and billing details tied to your stay.

We use this information to operate the ParkPilot platform on behalf of the Park you're staying with: to create and manage your reservation, process payment, send booking and billing confirmations, and respond to guest support requests. We do not use guest information to serve ads, and we do not sell guest information.

If you opt in to SMS notifications, ParkPilot may send you transactional text messages related to your reservation on behalf of the RV park you are staying with (such as reservation confirmations, check-in instructions, and billing links). Message frequency varies based on reservation activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records will be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes. All other categories of personal information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances, except with our contracted SMS delivery provider, Bird, solely to facilitate the technical transmission of requested text messages.

We share general guest information (excluding mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data) solely as needed to operate the service:

• With the specific RV Park you are booking with so they can manage your stay and reservation details.
• With service providers that support our core software infrastructure—such as Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Supabase (database hosting)—strictly to provide those services to us.
• Legal Compliance: When strictly required by law or to protect the safety and property of ParkPilot, the RV park, or our guests.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect guest information, and retain it only as long as needed to support your reservation and the Park's recordkeeping and legal obligations.

You can update or correct your guest profile information, or withdraw SMS consent at any time, by contacting the Park directly or by replying STOP to any text message.

ParkPilot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
